Trying this with Telus right now woohoo. Pretty sweet that they updated it to make it work, nice to not be left in the cold. I just wish there was a way to use Garmin or Telus navigator for free, I love the voice assisted directions. I think google maps though is awesome when you're travelling, like in another city and you can see exactly where you are, where your hotel is and so on.
This has been discussed already in a couple of places here. But maybe now we can FINALLY put an end to the false rumors about the Storm's GPS being locked.
What am I doing wrong? I downloaded google maps, allowed all the permissions, set GPS services for Location On, rebooted and it keeps saying it's waiting for the gps. I've never used this before. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
I thought this was a new version, so I deleted my old app and downloaded what I thought was a newer version. 3.0.2 has been out for at least a month, that is how long I have been using it. Still updates location only within 4000 meters. Big deal!
Indoors it will still use triangulation, outdoors it will be able to acquire the gps satellites are you guys indoors our outdoors? Mine only took a couple of seconds to get GPS location once I stepped outside my office.
