Is it just meet or does Google maps (3.0.2) not work on Bell (Canada) I have done about 4 battery pulls and even completely uninstalled the program and reinstalled and when I go outside it's still using cell towers.

PS BBMaps was working and had 10 sat's when I tested Google Maps

I got the Bell GPS nav icon but i hid it. And as per the MMS, no i didnt get it. When did that come out?

Where did you find the icon? I think bell forgot about me apparently there is now a MMS service book or something

I saw it a few days ago on my desktop in landscape mode. I dont think the MMS is true though. Did you try using poynt? When i installed that and pointed it to google maps it found me almost instantly.

I will try that and yah my bell gps just showed up and so did unlimited NHL had to re register Host Routing Table. Still not google maps

maybe its ur settings. check ur options/gps
and the google options

Google maps works, but GPS doesn`t work for it for me under Bell.

I got the Bell Nav and the NHL Unlimited pushed to my phone already.

GPS works fine on Poynt and other Aps that use GPS.

Just doesn't work for Google.

I am on Telus with .103 BBmaps works with GPS but I could not get googlemaps to work. Also I have never done the GPS fix.

It was reported that the GPS in Google Maps for BB will only work for the Storm on Verizon at this time.

I'm not sure why though... it's the same hardware, i don't know why it works for Verizon but not for Bell or Telus.

This really blows!
