No doubt Google Maps is a great tool. But it lacks the voice turn-by-turn navigation, it cannot pin-point me when I am inside a building, it does triangulation half of them, and the map redraw is much slower than the pay-applications.

Not always, but very often, you get what you pay for.

i've always had street view on my storm using Google Maps.

Just click on the map anywhere, a box will pop up and simply scroll down to street view!!! If street view isn't available for that city it will say "street view is not available" or something like that.

but i agree, Google maps is amazing, and Latitude helps out a bunch too!

I think it is a sweet app, myself. I want to learn how to take pictues and upload them to google Maps. I think that would be fun.

    Anyone know how?

You can get Street View, although it only shows it for the interstate and it's NOT the right image!

I am so shocked that Latitude 3.0.2 actually uses the GPS correctly. 3.0.1 could never get a GPS lock on my phone.
