    I installed google maps but its not showing up as an icon. I tried to install again and it says its already there but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

    Did you check in the Applications folder?

    Check your applications list in Options>Advanced to make sure you actually have the program fully downloaded and installed first.

    remove it and reinstall it. it will be put in the downloads folder. you then move it to whereever you want to
