I've been working with RIM on an issue for some time now, and I just noticed this the other day.
The "gmail plug in" that normally is seen under the email options screen is not there. All my sent emails from outlook are showing up in the folder (yes the hide messages are set to yes).
I've done the apploader/resettofactory a few times on RIM's command and wondering if that has dumped some vzw or rim loaded apps from "out of the box".
At this point wiping and reloading the phone for some issues is getting pretty old.
