I've got a POP3 email account that I have set up in BIS. The emails for this account come to my bb fine, but are not showing up in Outlook (2003). Whether I delete the email on my bb or not, it's not getting to Outlook. I do not have any mail re-director software running and if it matters, on the BIS web site, I do NOT have the Synchronize deleted items between this mailbox and my device option checked.
Not 100% on this, but do you have "leave copy on server" checked for Outlook. BB server only takes a copy of the email, it shouldn't bypass your Outlook.
I know that it was set to leave on the server, but maybe something or some one made a change I'm unaware of. I'll check that in the morning when I get to the office. Although...it seems like that would only make my bb not get emails that Outlook retrieved...not the other way around.
