I couldn't believe it either... Just read the terms of use and didn't see any violations. Was the file name he gave (no link) the issue? I am curios as to why the post wasn't edited to remove offending information vs. deleting the whole thread.

Perhaps it was BS so it got taken down? I doubt it but seems to be the only logical explanation.

I doubt that is the case, b/c there is plenty of general stuff that gets posted on here all the time.
For example, the wallpaper thread someone started today about their phone displaying wallpaper in landscape mode. It was a joke, but still it's "BS" in that it's not really of any importance. Unless you consider it a bug announcement, but i'm sure it's come up before.
Another example, what do we all do for a living. I dunno. just thinking out loud.
Just to be clear... I dont think it was BS AT ALL either. Just was thinking out loud on what some of the reasons might be. I dont wanna come off as accusatory or anything like that. CX seems to be a long time staple here and from what I've read a well trusted fella!

I am still intrigued by the .exe file name that was posted - wondering if that was too much info and that RIM folks were worried that Dr. Google might get it leaked too early.
On a lark I went to Google and entered [four].[seven].[zero].[eighty-three] and found that CX's post was the first hit. However, it appears that Google's caching engine didn't get a snapshot of it before it was taken down. I am amazed that Google has record of it though...
Did anyone get the filename before the post was pulled?
