I need a loud barking sound. Does anyone of you have a dog and a microphone? Pleeeeease!
I am nearly finished with the app, just need the barking sound. All the ones from the internet are not loud enough.

I have sound editing tools, why not take the barking dog file you like and I can pump up the volume?

Being activated by touching screen is a good idea

i think the app still needs to be activated by pressing the screen because i dont need a dog barking or a siren going off every time i pick up my phone. If you press the screen with out deativating then barking begins.You press the side button and enter the password and if its wrong bark away!

The application will only be active when yu launch it and not everytime you pick up your device.

1. You launch the application
2. You place it on your desk
3. You wait 5 seconds until it is locked
4. You wait until the next person picks up your phone
5. You laugh at them

Ill do everything just post the sound files since I don't have a dog and can't record it.

I'll attempt to find the appropriate sound files since I have Cool Edit Pro, I can most likely boost the volume of the file. We don't want it too loud, as I'm not sure about how much the Storm's speaker can take.

Would it be possible that if say someone slightly moves the phone, enough for the accelerometer to notice that it would start to growl? And then if they actually pick it up the phone starts to bark? Or something along these lines.

And have vibrate active during the growling (maybe the barking, too)???

Attached to this Thread you find the application called bWatchDoggy.
It's not yet the final version, just for you how it will work.

What you do is the following:
1. Download the zip file
2. Extract it to a folder
3. Install it via the Desktop Manager
4. Set Permissions to Allow! (otherwise it won't work)
5. Launch the application
6. Put it on your desk fast, you have 3 seconds until it's active
7. Wait until someone picks it up

Let me know how you find it until now! I know - the sound is too silent but I hope that anyone of you mails me with a good sound file. Mail me at [email protected] if you have a good and loud sound.
