what kind of tips are you looking for? If you're looking into how to get it then i think the best way to do it would be to get OS .109 but you probably were already aware of that.
to get qwerty on portrait go to options/Screen/keyboard then set portrait view keyboard option to full keyboard. Think it is only available paste the .85 upgrade like boyezy said. but you can always try it with .75. I gaurantee you will like the speed of .109 though. Just upgraded mine today and it is insane how fast the reaction of the screen is now. no lag at all.
sorry for the late reply, as ghosthound said, there are a number of posts on how to go back and forth between os's but i'm sure once you try .109 you will NOT want to go back to .75. The only problem i have had since downloading .109 is a slight bit of memory loss. Nothing that isn't manageable though. I just pull the batter every day or two and continue on as usual. No random reboots and absolutely no freezing. Much better OS than .75....and it has the portrait qwerty that you want. I don't use it often as the buttons are extremely small for my fat finger syndrome but its an option if you want it.
