love the app.. thanks a ton.. i do think the sound could happen a little sooner after the click of the screen.. there is a short delay.... but awesome start.
yeah i am working on several things for the next update, i already have picked out a different sound, its a faster crunch kind of sound and is very realistic. i am going to make it so you can choose the sound you want to use.
i am going to also try to make the homescreen crack instead of the windows pic. i used that cause it was already available but i am going to my friends house tonight who is a graphic designer and i am going to ask him to help me make a cracked screen over the wallpaper.
keep the suggestions coming, they are helping shape this app.
I am still trying to figure out better ways, i may send you a beta or two later or tomorrow.
one thing i am thinking is this:
you tell your victim to click the screen to go to the next picture, they do, it doesnt do anything, you say, oh you need to push harder and hold it for a second then it changes.
then as they as soon as they click and hold, it makes the break sound and when they quickly let go, it breaks the screen.
I like the instant crack image. It makes it more real like they pressed too hard and just immedately broke the whole screen. Maybe make an option for slow crack and an instant crack. Shorten the crack sound (which you stated you've already found a shorter clip) and I think it's good to go. The idea of the home screen is a good one too.
*EDIT* I just read the third sentence in my post. Sounds WAY wrong. LoL
i went to my graphic designer friends house tonight to try to get his help with this. he is going to try and help me improve this app by making it crack in stages. its really hard to make these kinds of images tough.
if anyone else can help with the images let me know.
i want to atleast have 3 images, 1) good screen, 2) starting to crack, 3) fully cracked. anyone know how to make these screens?
i am working on a new ver tonight that a) doesnt switch to landscape!!! (got rim keys!!!!!), b) has a new sound (you can choose) c) timed better.
