Running tiger on my mac... any possible way to download and unzip? I know there is this site with winrar but i went to it and it was confusing for me. Did not know what to download at all. Is there another program I can use?
am i seriously the only one with audio sync issues with the F&F trailer? I havent checked anything else out yet... Also, the aspect ratio is wrong as well. If the video is viewed properly on the storm, either the sides would get cut off or their would be black bars.
Guys, I do a lot of video editing for a long time. A nice little tool for you guys to use to correct aspect ratio's is a program called virtualdub. what you want to do though is use it while the video is still in its origional full size. I dont have my storm yet ( less than 24 hrs I will though ) so im not sure of the proper aspect. but if you figure that out, go to the tools menu in virtualdub and look for aspect ratio. you set it to the proper aspect then save it, then resize the video to the proper size ( screen resolution ) for your storm ( done in the same section ) and then export it to mp4 ( you will need the proper codec installed on your machine of course). if you dont have the mp4 codec, just save it as an avi with no compression and then drop it in the program that was listed by you guys in one of the previous posts in this thread. then you will be fine.
doing these steps will assure you a crystal clear video that will fill your whole screen with no black bars and no stretching/distorting at all.
if you were to try to do this after the video is already made small ( lets say a video previsouly resized for an iphone, or ipod ) then your video will come out all pixelated. you have to do this prior to shrinking its size.
I hope this helps a bit.
its impossible to fill the whole screen of the storm while maintaining the original aspect ratio of the video without adding bars, cropping the sides, or stretching/compressing the video.
For example, if the videos original size was a square, you can not have it play on a screen that is a rectangle (storm) without either adding bars or stretching the image.
