The way I found to lock the phone quickly is to purchase stormlock once downloaded to the storm you can choose to have it enabled system wide, you will have to do a bat pull. Once completed when you are on your main screen hit your BB Button three times in a row and it will lock the phone right away. To unlock you have to hit the back button (button next to the red phone button). Hope this works I am running .75 for me this works great

True, its delayed, but ive never come across it not locking itself after I press it. It's reliable from what it seems. Now if this app were free then I would probably look into it.

Nope... unreliable as diarriha.... (spray sh*t, whats the word in english?)

Another reason why I think that different sets of hardware are used in the different phones.

.106 clears this up quite nicely though ;-)
Not perfect, but it does the job much better

    This doesn't seem very quick.

BTW: Why does everyone care how quickly the phone Locks, shouldn't you care how quickly it unlocks?

When you are locking your phone it is because you are putting it away. You want to it to unlock quickly.

Also, make sure you have memory cleaning disabled if you really want the phone to lock quickly.

In .103 the unlocking is as quick as I would want it to be.

Does anyone have an issue with the phone locking up at random times(req a battery pull) after pulling it out of the holster when locked?

Also, it seems that the screen unlocks automatically when taken out of the holster. When using "Screen Lock".
