found one with the screen smashed and no battery, took it apart and it looks as tho only the lcd is the problem, no battery in it so im thinking bout ordering a new lcd and battery (bout 30$ on ebay) and tryin to fix it. when i plug it in without the battery the red light comes on bu nothing else happens..worth a try or is it trash?

If you search around the forum, you'll find that you need a battery to actually operate the Storm (any Blackberry).

So bottom line, if you want to spend the time and money, give it a shot.

See if you can find someone with a tour or storm or 9650. They will have the same battery.
