I have updated my FlipOFF app (Silences your Storm by placing it face down). It now has an option for one-click access to enable or disable the app.

Here are some of the features:
    * Allows 4 customizable profiles (and works on all of the default phone profiles...no need to change any settings)
    * Will cancel all audio/alerts/vibration generated by phone (not just from phone calls)
    * Will cancel alerts/audio/vibration when phone is holstered or locked
    * Allows you to set app to auto enable or disable when holstered
    * Allows one-click enabling/disabling of app (can be set to convenience key)
    * Can set to vibrate or alert you on activation/deactivation

And it's only $1.49 from the app store. Currently it's only available for the Storm, but I should have a version available for all phones within a week.

There is also a Free/Trial version available that allows only one customized profile but does not have the one-click access or allow the auto enabling/disabling when holstered. The free version though, does have an unlimited trial period.

The CM library can be found here.

Does it still make the crackling noise when flipoff is activated and face down...I know mine would be receiving a call and even though it would not ring face down, you could hear a crackling sound instead of it beign a dead silence....

I just tried to DL the trial through the Crackberry mobile store and it said I needed another app installed and it just says: "CM". I'm not sure what app this is or why I need it. Any help?

I never noticed the sound before. The blank sound file I'm using might be corrupted. I'll redo the sound file and check then upgrade the app.

I could not get it to work on .230 using the trial version. I set all of the permissions to allow. Not sure what the problem is.

Sorry, I was out picking up the kids from school. The paid version works on 230, I don't know about the Free version. What is the problem that you are having with the Free version?

The program would not engage. I would receive an error message when I started the app. I'll reinstall it again and let you know what the error message said.

Yea if you activate flipoff and have your phone face down, when a call is coming in you can hear small crackling type noise till the call stops coming through.

So basically with this application I can't have my phone in my pocket with the screen facing me, and sit down in a chair.

That would cause the screen to be laying down and my phone won't ring, right?

If you have the app enabled yes that will cancel whatever you have it set to cancel (Note you can have the app set to allow contacts in your phone book to get through).

I, too, get that crackling noise, and the vibrate still forces through the option Not to have it. Maybe there is a compaibility thing with BerryBuzz??
