Make sure your Clock Bedside Options are set: Disable LED = NO

This seems to override all LED settings even if the Clock app isn't running.

For those whom use the cradle & bedside clock mode every night we'd need to set the Option each night & that would be silly.

No you just tell it to set the phone into bedside mode automatically upon connection to power. At least thats what I do. Poof stick it in the dock and you immediately enter bedside mode. That way you get no LEDs at night and you don't have to set it each night. Only downside is that when/if you ever plug into a computer to transfer data via MSD profile, or to sync with DM, or load a leaked OS you enter bedside mode. NO BIGGIE!
