Correct. Using meterberry and my discharge rate is approx 50% lower. Quite amazed.

ok so no one?? i already did batt pull, tried re-installing the them.. just doesnt work... get a white background with un viewable icons in full portrait and landscape.. this is happening with hybriz zen 5.0 by socalmiles.

I tried minimal bold redux and got the same issue... just want to confirm if anyone else has this them issue before i do a full wipe and re-install the OS.

already tried two different themes... zen hybrid 5.0 and minimal bold...

out of the 3 on my phone the only theme that works is the standard precision zen with no issues.

Then just use the standard theme. I'm sure you can live with it for a few days until the developers fix the issues.

Speaking of themes...I'm running Aug's elle theme, and I no longer have white bar issues while in landscape!! I also notice my custom wallpaper also displays in landscape mode. I haven't tried any other custom themes, but don't see whey they would be any different, as Aug hasn't updated elle yet to be 5.0 compliant, either.

*EDIT* - Nevermind. After downloading the theme, Aug posted that he HAD updated it.

I noticed this on mine too. its a pain in the *** hitting show keyboard everytime.

just noticed that. i actually prefer it this way. especially when the thread gets long, i like to see a full view of the previous messages. clicking the keyboard button or txt field is no biggie IMO

I find it funny that I made this article WJD Designs � Blog Archive � Storm 9550/9520 Future Visual OS Ideas? about the key pop ups and other visual things I found in the newest sim build... and ladies and gents I was right..found out I was when the 9520 leak came out glad to see people liking the popupkeys!

I agree on the images viewer being smoother... all in all this OS makes me very happy - and the fix for the icons not being small anymore - can we get some clapping makes my themes look so much better Hopefully we see some cool step ups in the future but as of now solid OS...

Had my S2 for 8 hours and was loving it, downloaded .428 and its even better! yesss!

Loaded up fine, boots up quicker than .320. It has some pretty cool new features like view recepients. It also has a huge glow for the letters you click.

The bottom rows are way more responsive. I did not believe that this was going to be a software issue but i guess it is. The phone is snappier over all. I left all the programs i had on there before, and the phone runs better. As for battery life it is hard to say because I just loaded it a few mintues ago.

Battery life is improved for sure. I left it on global mode for a few hours of browsing and playing by accident and my battery life is what it was if not a little better than 1xev was on .320

Will do some testing tomorrow on 1xev and compare with meterberry

Landscape keyboard started to lag a bit. Did a battery pull and is doing fine so far after that...

But one thing thats bothering me is the slow change from letters to #'s. Pretty laggy there at times.

There is something squirrelly going on with the SMS messages. After the upgrade, sms messages are clumped together under wrong/different contacts. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hello everyone. I downloaded the new OS(.428) to my computer, deleted the vender file, and when I try to install the new os to my phone thru Desktop Manager, it shows the current OS(.320) and the new OS, so I check the new OS to install to phone and it say no software update is required for this phone. What am I doing wrong?????
