Is there any way to avoid that "tried to access local content" crap? Another program does this and it is infuriating.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned. I you lock a picture or video, obviously it won't show up under the media player. BUT, if you go to "explore" it will show that file. The only thing is that it puts an extra .lck at the end of the file extension. If you were to rename it and just delete the .lck, the file will show again on your media player.

Edit: Just read a couple posts that people have noticed it. nevermind.

Thanks for this app!! Its a useful tool and doesn't need to be measured using a moral yardstick. Whether people use it to hide biz docs or adult stuff shouldn't be relevant.

I finally got around to installing it, and so far it works well. I look forward to future refinements.

The name alone is suspicious for a snooping wife/gf, so what do you tell her when she asks you what that is?

As some have said previously the app would be useful to "lock" files so they cant be found by casual users wanting to just play with your phone, not my wife. If one of them where to ask, "What is this File Lock?" I would tell them, thats where I keep my porn!

im in love with this app but im having a problem with it everytime i enter my password to go into filelock it says filelock has attempted to open local content i click yes and it doesnt take me anywhere im still on the password screen but the password is right helppp

I think this app can be applied to a lot of things other than porn. I think i'm going to give it a shot to pass lock some of the folders i wouldn't want anyone else to see. This is a must have app. But it would be nice if they included a tool like this in the OS.

Content? Surely that's obvious? All your "content" that you have on your PC right?

As for adding a new folder, go into your Media folder - hit your bb button - then hit explore - select you SD card - hit your bb button - then go to "new folder". Its not hard to find fella.

How do you lock folders? I highlight the folder and hit Menu, then Lock and it just opens it for me everytime. Never locks it.
