sorry if there is a better place for this post, or if this is already posted somewhere. I just started using the crack berry forums.

I am running into an issue with an update. When I plug my BB 9530 into the usb it says it wants to update facebook. When I go through the application list on the black berry desktop manager it shows there are two facebook applications. when it goes through the update it says "core applications and facebook will be updated. it gets half way through and says that there has been a fatal error while updating your applications.

One has the Action to downgrade and the other further down the list has no option.

once again I am sorry if this thread is in the wrong location but if you have any advice I would appreciate it. Thank you.

It looks like your Desktop Manager is trying to upgrade/downgrade your OS. If you just need to upgrade Facebook you can do so through AppWorld. Third party apps should generally be loaded either over the air (OTA) or through an app store like AppWorld or (even better) CrackBerry.
