I have the Storm 9530 and tried to install the 132 OS. I started the install and it got to the phase of installing JVM and it sat there for about an hour at 0%. Finally I disconnected the phone and now it gets the double flashing red lights.

I've used the walkthroughs to try and reformat the phone. Where I'm stuck at is when I launch the loader.exe (with or without the /nojvm switch) I get one of two behaviors:

1. After it finds the device with USB-PIN: UNKNOWN, I click Next and it prompts for a Pin. The Pin I had set does not work - it doesn't say it is invalid, it just sits there with the Next and Cancel buttons grayed out.

2. it will not detect the device. I try waiting with the battery in and removing the battery and plugging the USB cord in. Neither are working now.

Any thoughts on what I can try would be appreciated, I'm out of ideas!

Look through there... there's a link for fixing this. There's no such thing as a brick... YOU CAN'T TOUCH THE BOOTLOADER, YOU CAN'T BRICK IT.

That's one of the guides I was using... but after looking at it again, it notes not working with Win 7 which I am running - will try from a different PC...
