Would there happen to be a setting to turn the fade on/off?

Im referring to switching between apps, locking or unlocking phone, using the back button, etc ... all result in a slight fade transition into the new screen.

Is this just my screen? or is this just how it is?

And is there an on/off button for that?

personally id like it to be really quick into the new screen, the fade just pisses me off and gives me subconscious feelings that its a delay or something, leading me to make a bazillion posts about how my storm is slow lol.

so maybe if i turn off this fade, i will be happier.

i think this fade is tricking me into thinking the phone is slow. The Curve does not fade correct? That might be why it appears to be faster and more snappy

every storm i have touched has this fade, but you have a snappy OS??

I have tried every OS ive seen posted on here, currently on .85 and still get it. Im assuming its defaulted to ON but i cant find where to turn it OFF

not sure if this fixes it, but go to options, screen/keyboard.

there's an option for automatically dim backlight...turn that off?

again, I haven't tried that, so I really don't know, but it's worth a try. And, isn't .85 nice?? I'm loving it.

I don't believe that there is a way to turn off the transitions between apps...looks like its part of the theme...when more themes come out, maybe there'll be one more to your liking.
