You`re very close!
okay i tried loading up the app and i to a part that says "No action required" what the hell?? i'm currently running 132
I was running .132.. i did the install and it seems to have installed properly.. I see the 5.0.90 in the application area of my phone..
Now I did a shrink an OS and remove the picture that came w/ the phone but for some reason, when I check it on the phone, the pictures are there... that's 5 MB that I want to remove. Can I run the .exe file again or do I have to remove uninstall the current OS and reinstall .132 again and run the .exe file?? Thank you in advance!
many thanks for the n00bie guide lyricidal overwritten the java file in rim folder and updated the storm without a glitch running the hybrid now without shrinkage and all seems ok, again thanks for your help...peace
I love this hybrid, but I just compared the accelerometer to the .75 in the store and its actually a bit slower. Everything else is better though.

Will I have to restore my data and apps if I upgrade from .75 to the hybrid (or any other unofficial release)?
I`m actually trying to decide between the 132 and 141 accelerometer, 141 seems a tad slower to me, any thoughts
for those having issues with shrinking the Sample pics off, I recommend BBFileScout, it lets you delete them right on your phone
Tarrant1701: It should back them up for you, but I would back your Apps up in Desktop Mgr
andywho: did you make sure it installed to the right folder over your .132 install
Lyricidal,
Just made the jump from .132 v4 to .141/5.0 hybrid. This build is awesome. I was really happy with .132/V4 and was somewhat hesitant to move since .141 on it's own was pretty bad for me. I love this build. Thanks again for all your hard work.
definately much better than .141 alone.
ok I guess nobody is going to answer my question
Been using this and I cannot get my browser up and running no matter what. Battery pulls, resent service books, nothing. Suggestions please?

When you resent your service books did you do it with the phone or did you go to verizons blackberry site? https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
Installation is smooth and simple from .132
If you are on BES you mayl need to get the system admin to reset your account for activation. Previous upgrades using DM alllowed me to not have to bother them.
The new Cleopatra game has a screen flicker every 4 to 10 seconds with this OS. I did not try it with original .141
Edit - the game was fixed in the next game update.
Maybe this one is a keeper after all.
Im running windows xp and I downloaded the 32 bit version of the hybrid installer... After I install the the program i get an error message saying that it failed to load the shrink an OS program. I wasnt interested in shrinking the OS so is it fine to go ahead and run the apploader that automatically popped up after the install? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
yup, thats fine :)
ok im trying to install... i downloaded the .132 OS on my computer but i dont know how to load it to the storm.... can anyone help?
download and install .132 to your pc, then download and install the installer from the first post and plug your phone to your pc and update
ok got the .132, the first post goes to the .141/5.0 hybrid installer... i downloaded that as well.... now just run the .141/5.0 installer or is there one for .132?
thats what is confusing me
can someone im me jjaenagle?
Run the installer on .132. Youre fine so far. Its overrides the 132 files with the hybrid 142 and 5.0 files.
*141
Amazing build. Best ive used so far. I think I may stay with the build for more than a week, and thats a record for me!
ok well what i did was installed the .132, restart computer, then use apploader and let it do its thing....
im at waiting for device initializing....
im not sure if it loaded the latest one or not, but when my phone turns on i will know....
know if i understand correctly, after it turns back on and i verify that its .132, can i just run the hybrid and choose the .141?
hey does this work for tmobile and does this hybrid has .141/.90 radio which is the only decent radio for GSM users
yet so far away ... look at the browse destination just like you said and yet i still get an error
