when you install the hybrid, change the folder from 9530-v4.7.0.132_P4.0.0.162 to 9530-v4.7.0.141_P4.0.0.174, then try again
should be good after that05-02-09 07:59 PMLike 0 - Download the Java only .rar

- I've been reading CrackBerry for over a week now... Finally time to post.
I would first like to thank Lyricidal for his extremely awesome efforts!
I've had my storm 9530 for about a week now. Love it. I love to tweak everything. (I have a computer in my car that can make settings changes, overclocked PC, a tweaked out Motorola Q, etc) and never before have I had such incredible instructions.
Only two small problems were encountered through the whole process.
I upgraded my .75 vzw to .132 performing backups all the way. Then ran hybrid, Shrink-a-os, and then the final loader. Everything seemed to go perfect. finished up and went out to dinner.
1) I went to send a SMS and there were no contacts. absolutely 0. so I restored a backup when I got home. no problem.
2) i'm not sure I got the 5.0 business, can someone tell me how the about screen should look? mine says:
v4.7.0.141 (Platform 4.0.0.174)
One last thing... Has anyone who is a verizon customer incurred extravagant expenses, or been terminated for using a version that is not vzw official?
Thanks Again!05-02-09 08:03 PMLike 0 -

go to My Computer, C:\ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research In Motion \ Shared \ Loader Files \ 9530-v4.7.0.141_P4.0.0.174
paste Java right there - overwrite everything,
go back to Shared (back twice) and click the AppLoader folder and launch Loader.exe to update your phone

here are my steps..
1. install .141 to the computer again????
2. reboot and run the hybrid installer... make sure to get the right file
3. after the phone updates, do the java file update?

can i do the java update for number 2 and then do the installer?05-02-09 08:16 PMLike 0 -
the idoctor:
if you have it installed already you dont have to install .141 again
install the hybrid installer, changing the folder to .141 instead of .132
then update your phone05-02-09 08:17 PMLike 0 -
