OK i downloaded everything to install this thing correctly.. i went from 141 back down to 132 so i could do the hybrid but when i try to do the install the phone is plugged in but the connection port is blank and it will not let me click the box to detect one. What do i do from here? I really wanna try this OS since everybody is talking about it

Also, make sure that you are not running a USB Hub and that there are not a bunch of things connected to your USB ports.

OK ill try that.. i downgraded from .141 to .132 then right after install of that OS i try to do this hybrid. I'm pretty good with a computer and doing all this but i dont see why it wont recognize. I'm on my laptop so i dont have a usb hub and the phone is the only thing that this is connected to. I cleared my Cache and all and doing a reboot now. We'll give this another shot and see what happens.

It's still not detecting it. I dont know why. I can open BB Manager and it detects it but not with this. I dont know.

Odd, you can do the update from Desktop Manager, just disconnect from the internet.

No you should be able to upgrade from this. Just go to page 1 of this thread and follow the directions.

You just click Application Loader, Update Software, then it will find the software updates. .65, .75, and the one you installed yourself.

Check the one you want, disconnect from the internet, then click next.

I put it on this morning. I was running 141 with not as good as performance as 132 so I put this on. So far it it way better than the plane jane 141 is. 141 needed to be rebooted several times to make things work as they should. After I Enterprise Activated it I am good to go and memory is staying near 37mb. Good job!!!!!!!

No OS's are installed on my PC

I will download .132 and install on my PC (do I need to upgrade handset to .132???)

Once .132 is installed on PC can I just download the 141 hybrid and go from there and follow the instructions?

You don't need to put .132 on your phone, just your computer.

Once it is on your computer download the installer created by Lyricidal and run it, then it will take you through the rest and put the hybrid on your phone for you.

That's correct, because the files are copied under the .132 folder, it thinks it's .132. You should be good to go.

You ran the installer right? Sorry, I forgot. If you did, then go ahead with the install.

Go to your Java folder under 9530-v4.7.0.132_P4.0.0.162 to 9530

And list the files by date modified, what is the earliest date you see?

Sure, it's worth a shot, uninstall you current OS from the computer.

Install .141 to your computer, then download the Java files only Here and copy them to the Java folder in your new directory. Does this make sense?
