I finally gave up and downgraded to a curve 8330. Much better!
I stand corrected, and vindicated at the same time. A curious combination. I tip my hat to you sir. Well, I would if I were wearing a hat anyway. :p
I wish everyone that thought this way would put their energy into buying an iphone rather than whining on the internet... you'd think that's what a sane person might do
But sometimes whining on the internet makes you feel better. Misery loves company, sometimes it helps to know other people are just as pissed too. I haven't been pissed at my phone for at least 2 days.
Everyday I wish my wife was Alessandra Ambrosio...
but that ain't happening.
You are not married to verizon. You can pay the etf. Honestly it only costs about two months of service. Big whoop. Sell the phone and you have made back that money. Now you can get your iPhone. Yes it is that simple.

You own one but do you use it?
Just a couple of my fav quotes from a couple of my fav Storm users. ;)
Yes... I used it exclusively from about late November until about 2 weeks ago... Right now I'm giving the 8330 Curve a good spin to get a feel for what the Tour might be like, and whether or not I would want that.
And before you even start, I'm interested in the Tour because my needs have changed since when I got the Storm. When I bought the Storm, I was very often making long commutes (over an hour) via public transit. So a big screen with multimedia features galore was a big draw. My commute times are now about a half hour, and by car, and I have more professional needs of a Blackberry.
I freely admit that I'm simply too lazy to train myself to properly type with the Storm. I know I could do it, I just lack the motivation and desire. So now that I find myself having to use my phone more for email, the tactile feedback of individual buttons is appealing. I have no problems with the Storm, it's just my needs have changed, and the Storm no longer fits as well as it did... For ME.
Yea i also downgraded to the curve. And places that i didnt have reception with the storm i do with the curve. Got full bars with the curve in the basement of my work. nothing with the storm. I think people thinks it cool to like the storm. Everyone i talk to that i know says they brought it back. the reviews are terrible for the storm. I used to be brain washed to. now people ask me if i got a new phone because my emails and texts are longer> because you can type> the storm just you press the a and the s shows up lol.
i just feel upset that i spent 199 on garbage. I would never give the storm 2 a chance. when the iphone goes to verizon i am there. I have been a blackberry fan since the beeper days.
