+1 tenchar;)
Discussing the merits/cons of the platforms with you is pointless as you are all-knowing. Stick a fork in me...
Went in "the" Verizon store near me to upgrade my wifes phone. She asked about the Storm2 and no less than 2 reps said no way. They said it is horrible and they wouldn't even think about it. I pulled out my Storm2 and said I loved it, have had no problems, and that it works great. They were genuinely in shock. For the record, my wife ended up with the Droid2, but for her uses, a blackberry is not necessary.
I love my fking Storm 1 guys and it was a hot phone two years ago and Im just waiting for the S3. I love SurePress and if you dont then O well. I almost went to a DroidX but putting the thing in my pocket while dancing with the ladies is a no go. I cant imagine how fast the battery would die on the thing due to size of screen. I do need to ***** about BB web browser. It sux and no one will doubt that it sux. I currently use Opera and thats about 5x faster. I like the security with my BB and worried using Google (Liberal co.) Droid software. Soon enough I bet people will have to protect there phones from viruses on Droid software. WHERE IS 6.0 and my STORM3?
Horrible? What's horrible about it? Anyway this SurePress thing is getting me even more hooked to it as the days go by. I was just looking at some Android devices' specs and indeed was 'wow-ed'. It certainly opened up a choice for me to jump ship when my contract ends.
Sad thing is, I picked up my S2 and texted a friend, and was hooked again. It could become a serious problem soon. :D
