My phone has no new emails but the indicator says I have two. Does anyone know how to clear it.

    Thanks in advance.

Do a battery pull i.e. take off the back cover and remove your battery without turning the phone off first; wait 30 sec. and reinstall the battery and let your phone reboot.

This seems to be a recurring problem if you customize your icons. If you did, try going back to the default settings and see if that helps. Hopefully, they fix this bug in a later build.

Are you sure that it's cleared from both your email listing and messages listing? Sometimes it'll be in both places.

    That's a good point.

Both are clear and I have no custom settings. It's not a big deal, it just shouldn't happen.

Check your message folder carefully (not the email folder but the one that is titled messages. I have mine hidden, make sure yours is not). Most times you'll find something there.

Check your saved messages too, sometime we leave an unopened message there or download any older attachment & then search in message

Check missed calls & voicemail too. Uses same icon.

If the battery pull doesn't work, turn the feature off and then on to see if it gets corrected.
