Hi..

I have a unlocked Blackberry Storm and I just signed up for blackberry service yesterday and it has got activated.

my edge has been converted to EDGE now.
But when I see, Mobile Network > Mobile Network Status .
It shows, BLackberry Internet Service : Not Connected.

Also, im not able to access anything.

What can be the possible issue ?

Did you get a registration message in your Messages box?

Also, you should try creating your own BIS account using your BlackBerry's IMEI and PIN at Aircel's BIS portal at:
BlackBerry Internet Service

If/once your BIS account has been created, resend Service Books to your device.

Let us know if you're still having problems after this.

I got registration SMS on my inbox that the handheld has been successfully registered with the wireless device.

Just tried on that site and entered my PIN and IMEI number.

But it gave this error on popup,

Cannot create account:

This BlackBerry(R) device is not registered with your wireless service provider.
Please register this device and verify that the URL of the current web site matches
the one provided by your wireless service provider.

To register:

1. In the Application list on your device, click Options, or click Settings Options.

2. Click Advanced Options > Host Routing Table.

3. Click the Menu key and click Register Now.

If the error persists, contact your wireless service provider.

Ok I got it solved.
Its all working now. Had to receive all the service books from the service provider.
