I have been charging my Storm All Morning because I forgot to charge it last night-

I've been really good and ignoring it, and checking my email manually-

It has been stuck at 95% since like 11AM.

    Why?

You may have a bad cell. How long have you had this issue?

I am confused by this whole battery thing. First of all, are you all estimating what the battery charge is at? If not, how can I find what the exact percentage is? I have also heard the LED should light green and the bolt will go away from the battery when full charged. Is this true? If so, my battery is also having the same problem as prada above because I charge my phone overnight for an average of 7-9 hours a night and when I wake up the bolt is still there.

    the shortcut for this is:
Holding the screen in portrait mode: hold the backbutton down and the click the upper left, upper right, upper left, and upper right of the screen. You'll get a nice summary screen including battery life.

So the only way to fix it is to just charge the thing for as long as it takes for the LED to turn on? Does this make the battery easier to charge from that point on?

I've tried this and nothing happens. I usually just go under Options>Status to check the battery life %

(I'm trying to Quote, but nothing it's not working.)

Worked great, thanks! I too have that "95%" issue, but when I unplug the phone, it then says 100%. Kinda like a lag or delay in the system recognizing the full charge.

I've got a similar problem. My storm will charge to 100%, however, it won't take the "charging" icon off of the battery level indicator....hmmmm
Any suggesstions or should I go get a new one since I just bought my Storm two weeks ago.....

I read somewhere to charge it all night every night for a week and then after that only charge as needed. It worked for me.

I have the same problem. I never seen the battery go past 95% the last couple of weeks and I thought it was a .8x os side effect. I installed .75 and still the same. Maybe I should pay a visit to my VZW store.

    I'm running OS .75 too

I wonder if it's one of the Quirks in .75 ?

    Any Thoughts Anyone?

Not sure if it's limited to .75 but so many people have noticed this that I'm sure it's Storm/software related and not the battery. Most with the 95% problem have solved it with a long charge, taking it off the charger or with a battery pull. I noticed being stuck at 95% at one point and it seemed to go away after a couple of overnight charges.

I'm using .75 with the same problem. Does anyone know when VZW will do the OFFICIAL release of the next upgrade?

    Here is what I do...

When it's stuck a 95% for at least 30 mins, I do a battery pull. After the pull, it reads 100%. A pain, but does the job.
