I have a replacement on the way from Verizon, should I downgrade to .75 before shipping my old one back off?

I asked this same question a week ago and most people were rude and assumed I must be too lazy to downgrade. Others said they replaced theirs just fine without downgrading.

I ended up taking mine to the store and getting a brand new one out of the box, and I left .85 on my old one... it was no problem at all. They didn't even check, nor did they care. Just go ahead and leave it the way it is... you can delete your porn and home videos if you want though. ;-)

My screen is beginning to look like a dust storm is happening under the glass. And I work in a pretty clean environment...

Yeah I kinda expected that, I searched but no luck. I wouldn't too much worry about it if I were taking it in, but I'm getting mine mailed to me. No porn on my storm, thats what my PC is for

Luckily I haven't had the dust issue, just horrid clicking on the corners. And mine stays in my pocket at all times.

I would do a wipe before sending it back to make sure you get all of your info off and I would probably downgrade to .75 to be on the safe side.

From what I read on another thread some say just send it in wiped. I might just do that.

It most likely isn't a problem but if you are concerned it wouldn't hurt to do a downgrade if you want to be safe.

FWIW I just wiped my phone and sent it back blank.. I got my credit.

definitely! You take the risk of loosing the warranty.

Ive returned a phone wiht a leaked OS and nothing happened.

Then I returned another one, and they wouldn't do anything with a leak or if they even knew I had one on in the past...

Im sure otehrs will chime in but that was my experience..
