The blackberry attachment service can open doc's, spreadsheets, pdf, etc, right?

Is there any need to keep Documents to Go on my Storm if the attachment service can open the same things up?

If you dont need them you can remove them from application loader. I did.

It depends if you use it or not. Are you going to edit documents on your storm?

Noob here...Same challenges here with my storm. I saved a protected PDF attachment (I thought) and can't find it to open. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a PDF app (PDFtoGo, MobilePDF, BeamReader) to do that. The internal PDF viewer will open a PDF EMAIL ATTACHMENT as an image for viewing.

View the applications folder. Hit menu key. Look for "unhide"

Sorry, the option is "Show All" (my bad). I'm assuming you accidentally hid the app. Show all will show it dimmed. You then can select "hide" (with the checkmark next to it) to unhide it.

i recently took my phone in for service issue. i guess they did a reset and installed a new os. i just noticed my docs to go is gone. it is not dimmed its just not there so i cant highlight it to choose show all. Is there a way to install or download docs to go?
