ditching the rubber and going bare
- ...im thinking about getting rid of the silicon cover and going without it. I dont know why but im starting to like the look of the phone with the cover off (im using the white/transparent one) compared to it with it on....i must say though its saved my phone once or twice.
i think the biggest problem im going to have is the grip of the silicon keeps the phone from sliding out of my pocket frequently..other than that, im really liking seeing a black phone again02-17-09 07:11 PMLike 0 - Yeah I'm torn between bare or rubber. I'm currently using the verizon hardcase, but its not working out for me.

I have contemplated getting one of the silicon ones so that I don't feel like I have to hold on to my phone for dear life though.02-17-09 09:22 PMLike 0
- I have been case collecting. I had the BB holster (hate it), I now have the plastic snap on case (its ok), in the mail is 2 rubber ones (what I wanted to begin with but could not find). Maybe I should open a case store.. haha02-17-09 10:16 PMLike 0

- If u still want the protection of a case but no bulk get an invisibleshield from zagg.com... you have the great looks of the bare phone but still have scratch protection without all the bulk. And its got a lifetime warranty so if it does start peeling off, they'll replace it. I've got one on my storm and can still use my charging dock (it's slightly snug but works good still) and slip it my pocket easily. It also adds a little bit of grip so i don't feel as if i'm going to drop it easily. Takes a bit of time to put it on but it's there and if you ever want to take it off it doesn't leave any residue. I had one on my dare before i got my storm and once i got my storm i ordered one right away. Check out the website... they're pretty cool. FYI, if you do decide on one look around for a discount code, they have a new code everyday on facebook and twitter.
just my .02...02-18-09 01:32 AMLike 0 - I have the verizon snap on hard case and it is really bulky. I'm sure it has saved the phone from scratches but I don't know how it would do if I dropped it. Does a silicone protect better against drops?
And yes it is like a completely different phone without the case... much smaller and sleeker... but i'm afraid of the risk!
Isn't a silicone sleeve hard to get out of pockets and such?02-18-09 02:18 AMLike 0 - If u still want the protection of a case but no bulk get an invisibleshield from zagg.com... you have the great looks of the bare phone but still have scratch protection without all the bulk. I then bought from best skins ever and its the exact same thing for lot cheaper! $7,99 vs $20? Its a no brainer in my recession book.
