Believe it or not when I get the Storm it will be the first time I've upgraded a phone with the same carrier. All my previous phones have either been lost, destroyed or didn't work with my new carrier. I have an LG Chocolate (one of the original models) and I'm just wondering what I do with it after I get a Blackberry.

Does Verizon give a discount on a new phone for turning in an old phone? Or do they even accept old phones that can be refurbished?

it's a Blackberry program. you go through them, not VZW. it's simple to do.

Remember to use the code "Graduate" for an extra $50. I believe the deal ends Nov 30 so hopefully the storm will come out before then.

Even if it doesn't come out before 11/30, you still can purchase it within 30 days of completing the request from blackberry so you really just have to hope it comes out by Christmas or so. Just complete the request by 11/30...

From the "How it works" part of the site:
"One old device will be accepted for each new BlackBerry smartphone purchased."

However, from the FAQ part of that site:
"Can I trade in more than one wireless device?

There is no limit to the number of devices you can trade in."

Looks like they will gladly take your phones, but maybe not give you credit unless you buy another blackberry

yes, you can trade in as many devices as you want. you don't have to get a blackberry for each device you trade in. lol.
