Hey guy,

I'm trying to upgrade from 76 to 141 and during the update right when the computer tries to update the phone ROM i lose connection between the phone and the computer. Is the driver weak?
I'm running Vista 64 also.
After, the phone reboots and everything goes back to normal. I can connect and restart the update, then dame thing happens.

Any ideas??

Did you check the OS on your phone after it reboots to see if it completed or not?



Are you suing DM or apploader.

The phone will lose and regain connection a couple times. You have to wait till loader or DM says its done. DO NOT DISCONNECT OTHERWISE.

I know it's not finishing.
I get a driver message, asking me to locate it.

It happnes maybe 5 minutes into the update. I know the phone will reset a few times during update but this isn't it.

I've used both DM and apploader, no joy.

Are you using a hub? If you are, that may be your problem.

No, straight usb cable phone to comp.
