Not gonna happen.
should be easy to do
I am no programmer, but I would guess the operating system would need to recognize the screen commands differently, therefor it would need a major change in code. Not sure that will happen.
This is a hardware issue not something that can be written into an OS. True press will show up in the storm 2
Who said true press is iphone technology?

I dont get it, SurePress is the most original and unique feature on the Storm, and the main reason a lot of us bought the Storm, instead of the iPhone. The iPhone is better in almost every way over this phone, except for SurePress. I love the Storm, but without SurePress I would go for the iPhone for sure. I just cant type on the iPhone.
Storm II seems to have dropped the click feature (engadget), so maybe that OS will work on the older phones.
Sounds like you just need to get the iphone or the samsung instinct.
Or maybe if the rumors hold true just wait for the Storm 2...
BlackBerry Storm 2 dropping SurePress screen?
Engadget did, but it's all rumors at this point.
