Does anyone know how to disable the browser on the 9530? I want access to only emails for work, apps, and normal phone/text functions. Thanks for the help.

You can "Deny" the browser application in your settings. That would effectively do what your asking.

Would this work on a Storm? I may need more step-by-step instructions.

You could just hide the icon... That way you wouldn't really have a way of accessing it.

You could also delete the service book for it which will get rid of the icon, and give you no way to access it, even if you click on a link.

Service book would work just as well, maybe even easier than the "Deny" thing I was thinking of......

As suggested earlier, hide it or just don't click it and you will not be accessing the internet. You could also create another folder and put it into that folder, that way it would take several clicks to get to it. Not likely to accidently click it.

I would suggest hiding it as you really may need it at some point.

But otherwise as others have stated delete the service book.

The service book can come back down at times if the device gets re registered on the network.. or has the service books resent.

When I delete the Service book, will I still get my work emails, Yahoo emails, be able to download apps, etc?

How would I delete the Service Book? Through Desktop Mgr?

I would just exercise self control and not open the browser. At some point someone will send you an email with a link to a web page and you'll need the browser. Personally I'd reccomend just hiding the browser icon.
