I want to disable the regular lock screen so when i hit the Lock button it goes to storm slider or any locking 3rd party app. is this possible, cause with storm lock it seems to interfere with the BB lock screen alot and its a pain in the but.

no the storm lock isnt reprogrammable.
try setting the storm slide lock to one of your side convenience keys.
sorry but thats as good as it gets.

If you get storm slider or pattern lock it will work when you use the lock button. After the screen dims it automatically activates the lock feature. Do some research in the app section and decide which is right for you.
