Sorry I have been lurking around for a while and just got my phone on christmas. So it was running fine no big problems so one time i got sim card rejected so i did a batt pull. No problem everything was fine again so now i was in my basement wasnt really getting service said sim card rejected again so i pulled the batt and then now when i put the batt back in the led just flashes red and i cant get anything else to like turn on. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

I'd try taking it to verizon and see if they can help out

I would hook it up to the Desktop Manager and see if it will connect. Or try the JL Comander app you can find if you search the forums to wipe it and reload.

Never done it myself but those are the symptoms of a nuked/bricked berry from what I've heard.

That's what's screwy in my mind...but like I said, from what I know, those are the symptoms.

Yah It sure seems like it but I don't even know what to do to fix this..even after looking at that link because I can't connect to desktop manager and Idk if it is because i installed it wrong or because its just not connecting

how was your battery life before the pull? i assume you've already tried charging it for 30 minutes or so?

Your phone has most likely lost its Operating System. You should really take it back to the store as I suspect a hardware failue.

However if your phone connects to Desktop Manager and is displayong your PIN number then there may be hope and you could try the procedure below.

To install or upgrade your OS you should get 3 things downloaded and installed on your PC.

• Desktop Manager. Get v4.6 with no media manager from here https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22
• CrackMem from the link in my signature. Please then read the Help file. It will really help you as it has a step-by-step
• guide to upgrading. The OS that you are searching for. To find the OS, look in http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/ or in the Sticky at the top of the relevant device forum on CrackBerry. You can also obtain this from your carrier from here http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support...load_sites.jsp.

I believe that you should because it is not your problem and you should not try to fix a problem that I believe is not fixable by you at home. Make this an SEP.

It sounds like you are having software issues with the device. I would just return it and get it swapped. If you are having this type of issue now no telling what issues you will have in a month or two.

Alright I went to the verizon store and they gave me a new one. Now I have to just fix my click problem...and is a SIM card falure a problem that comes up a lot?
