Has to do with your HOME SID setting in your CDMA programming. Since V bought out A, some of the home SIDs have been changing. All these settings get rewritten and corrected if you do a *228, 1 or *22899 to trigger a full reprogram.

As a side note, sometimes the HOME SID number is totally messed up when you get a new CDMA phone in the box and OTA programming is not possible. In a situation like this, you'd have to dial ##(your MSL code) Send on your old CDMA phone for that carrier and look at the HOME SID number. Then do the same in the new phone and type in that old number. Then you Save/Reboot and when it comes back up, you can do the standard *228, 1 to provision the phone.
