Hi. I have the Storm and I use Excel a lot. Is there a way I can click on the phone number in an Excel spread sheet and have it dial the number.

    Thanks

    Yes.

    1. Select the cell containing the phone number. (Just put your finger on it but do not actually click it.)
    2. Hit BB button
    3. You should see an options to call/sms/mms that number.

You can click on the cell containing the number as well and it'll just open that cell then hit the BB button but you're going through an extra step if you click on the cell.

I've noticed that in any app, if the BB recognizes the set of numbers as a phone number, you can select it, then hit BB button and you'll have an option to call that number.

I do this from the browser a lot.

This is awsome info. How do you do this from a BlackBerry without the button. When I click the cell or press and hold it does not work on my bb
