Verizon will not disassemble a phone to fix a screen
Great. Guess I am stuck, either get a new phone or fix it myself.
1. go watch those videos on how to open up your phone....
2. get yourself phone opener.. kind of a plastic tools....
3. go buy a FULL LCD+Touchscreen (new/refurbish/spare doesnt matter)
I paid 60UK pounds for the FULL LCD+Touchscreen. Its easy to self repair....my phone is not even a scratch....and now working better than before!
Point to note: Touchscreen damage doesn't mean LCD is damage...you can buy the touchscreen alone but its 50% chance works cuz by default the LCD and touchscreen are sticked together in a well done manner...if i were u...i will buy the FULL combi to self fix.. then sell away the LCD get some cash back.
Edit: LCD is not damaged it was the cracks in the screen that made it look like it was bleeding but it's not! Dropped calls were because the battery door was not on and the battery kept popping out enough to shut off the phone. It is broken. Tech said to have someone change the digitizer and sell the phone.
Didn't want to mess with this more and screw it up so I got a new phone. Switching platforms. Thank you all for your help. Going to put the phone on CL and let someone else who is tech savvy fix it and sell it.
