This is a bit odd. Hooked up my Storm running OS .109 and ran a backup. After it completed Desktop Manager v 4.7.0.32 searched for software updates and came back with "32mb OS 4.7 core software update available". I did not allow it to run because I was unsure what impact it would have since it did not indicate this was a "core update for .109" just an update for 4.7 period. Anyone else se this or have any ideas? I also chose options to see what exactly was different and every option I wanted from the base OS is already installed and only this "core software" thing shows Action Needed = Update. All other options show Action Needed = None. I don't want to run the risk of .109 getting trashed by having a .75 mod pushed into it.

I know, I'm really overcautious I guess. But I was surprised to see an auto-update for .109. Please, gurus, advise a young padiwan ...

I have seen other people just let the update go forward. Not spefically .109 but others had beta releases and let it just update. They noticed no diffrence. Try to search for it, to see other theads about this particular situation.

Thanks Terrigno ... found a few posts about auto-updating (to do or not to do kind of thing) but didn't hit one that was OS .109 specific.

I let it update and it reverted my mms file back to the 109 mms after I installed the 86 mms file. I had to reinstall the 86 mms file so I could send picture texts.

It's happened to me before, three times to be exact (different OSs). No harm done.
