many of the auto complete mistakes are in the custom dictionary. check there first
Options > Auto Text > you can go through the list and delete any of them that you want.
You can also create new ones if you want.

I did check there but those words are in addition To the auto correct words that pop up.
I am looking for the main database of words.
I have read on here in the past that the only way to delete these is to clear the custom dictionary... Even though they are not visible, this seems to sove the issues... What a pain!
That worked! Thanks. For some reason there were a number of incorrectly spelled words that were popping up as auto correcting. Once I cleared the custom words, the wrongly spelled words have been deleted too, even though not visible. I re-entered the custom words I wanted.
I don't understand why the words aren't added to the dictionary so the user can go in and selectively delete. Is this another "broken" thing, or is it really intended to just be a blank screen that is all or nothing? If broken, it's been broken a l-o-n-g time.
personally i always have the words in my dictionary, i deleted a bunch the other day. i have never just wiped the dictionary
