Hi,

I searched the forum but couldn't find my answer....

I went to media and deleted some of the ringtones I put on my Storm, but when I went to sounds and selected set ringtone the deleted ringtones are still there....

I did a battery pull too....

anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

Having the same problem...

Plug your storm into the usb on your computer. Go to the ring tones folder on your sd card and delete the file BBThumbs.dat.
The phone will generate a new one based on the files in that folder and the deleted riingtones will be omitted from the list.

that got rid of the old ones but now the ringtones that i have on mine are listed twice in the same order. ie:

song 1
song 2
song 3
song 1
song 2
song 3

and they all work. any suggestions?


EDIT: this problem went away...after a couple tries. thanks!
