    I'm new to the whole Blackberry thing and did not realize if I set up the BES through my work then I would be stuck going through their proxy. So I called IS and had them delete my BES account, figuring I would just use our webmail system to check work email. Well the BES is now gone, but now my browser doesn't work at all, I still can't change the default browser, and I still can't turn off the password requirement.

    So...does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this??

    You'll need to remove the IT policy from your phone and wipe it. There's a writeup on how to do this in the FAQ/Help Forum. Please read it.

    well i checked it out but the command it is telling me to use "wipe" does not seem to exist on the storm...
