I used the free app File Manager Pro. It will let you explore all files like on a pc. Just go to sample pics, music, etc elect the files, bb key delete. There is another way but if you download that app it is much easier.

There is no delete function on File Manager pro for me. All thats shows up for me is unlock file? Which in turn wants you to pay for the program.
Never mind it did work! Instead of highlighting each picture (which didn't give me the delete option) I highlighted the samples folder and chose delete. Rebooted and the pics are gone (folder is still there though). Awesome find!
Although I have not tried (because my memory is doing just fine), but shouldn't you be able to delete sample pictures or sample videos using Desktop Manager? Once you started Desktop Manager, you should see BLACKBERRY1 folder in your Windows Explorer. Then you should be able to delete those files. Right?

Only Way to delete from desktop is when you re install the os.

It did the same thing for me the first time. Just go in and delete the pictures file again and it should take care of it. Each time I did a delete I also did a Quick Pull and re-booted my phone. Hope it works for you.
