Just got 2 of these and they work great. Make sure you put it in your Storm and format 1st thing. Then you can copy files from your old 8GB to these using the computer.

I've got my favorite 300 tunes, 7 full length MP4 format movies that I ripped and converted, dozens of PDF and DOC files from work and a 25 or so photos and image files.

Who needs a laptop? Mine is for sale now, cheap.....

***UPDATE*** DAMN!! Just got these on April 12 from Supermediastore.com for $65 US each, the same site now has them for half that!!!

nice! thanks for the report.I've been looking at the best storage upgrade solution after the battles people had on here regarding what the speed of the reader in the storm was.

I consider this my mobile laptop too! 3g ftw! all we need is flash support

Got these at supermediastore.com. Still a little pricey at 65.99 each considering their 8GB class 6 can be had for 15. But the competition will be starting on the price.

    I just couldn't wait....

Not bad...my fave pc store NewEgg has:

    SanDisk micro sd16 for $84
    A-Data for $55

...and they usually have some of the better prices too!

Trust me im never tight fisted, always skint on payday with crap i buy haha.

But for some reason it always feels weird spending alot on a little peice of plastic. I dont know why but it does. Ima defo get one of these. My 8gb is full right now.

A defo good price for money imho. Always putting things on my Storm.

When you fill that 16 GB up let us know how it affects boot time compared to an 8GB

I got the same card and also got it from Supermediastore. Not sure when Newegg added it, but they didn't have it a couple weeks ago. In fact, I don't think Newegg even had any 16 GB cards. That's good news though for those still looking!

For the person asking about boot time, not sure it really affects it that much, if at all. I have mine loaded to 10GB and it takes 2.5 minutes, if that helps you at all. On my class 2 16GB the boot time was the same and I had 7GB loaded on it then.

Total space available on this card is 14.9GB and after copying all the files over I have 1.8GB left. My boot time when I first put the card in was about a minute longer than usual, but after formatting the card and copying all my files to it, it takes the same as before. Couple of minutes at most.

I have to say that my MP4 videos play much better now. They seemed choppy (sometimes) with the 8GB class 2 card. Seems like the class 6 is feeding the media player much faster/better.

    Just one observation.

Thanks for clearing that up... I was about to buy it and didn't even notice it was just the SD and not micro SD until I checked back over here to ask the OP if it came with the adapter. Saved me a few bucks!
