    I am very confused on this. I have set certain people to have their own custom text and ringtone. Well the problem comes into play when I have the main sound profile to Vibrate. When I have it on vibrate, my custom tones still come through as the sound. Any assistance would be great.

    most likely you changed the volume for these individual people... leave the volume set to active profile

    Setup a custom profile. I hate having to do it, its such a pain to me.

    yea check that, each person has their own volume settings. RIM has the oddest custom profile settings in this OS

    Yeah I had this issues too, It has to be set to the active profile. If not then the sound will still play
