I have searched but have not found anyone who's custom ringtones or wallpaper work while connected to a PC - even when stored on device memory.
I have my custom ring tone in the device memory under Blackberry1\home\user\ringtones and it fails to work while connected. The same applies to wallpaper stored in Blackberry1\home\user\pictures - the default Verizon wallpaper shows up while tethered.
I have files that I sync in the background while connected, so I need mass storage enabled, but hate not hearing any ringer when a call is coming in.
Has anyone got this scenario to work? Am I missing something?
