I went back to .76 and its like night and day..

Im back loving my Storm.....Its like an old marriage.. lol

Over the past few days it's amazing (and a tad humorous) seeing the polar opposites in "user feedback" to the upgrade. Like seriously night and day. I've been running it on both mine and my gf's since it leaked...no issues on either one and that was after a few day's of just receiving them with .75 installed...also no marked issues except the camera lag which .83 took care of.

after .83 my type ahead with pop up didnt work in BB messenger. The phone woul dring and could not be heard or hear callers with headset or earbud. Had the dowble keyboard issue when flipping from landscape to portrait and back. Wen back to VZs .75 and much happier

Running .83 mostly problem free. The 1 big problem I do have with it is the mic when in Handset mode muffles my voice really bad. People say its like I'm holding my hand in front of the phones mic. I thought maybe I was having a hardware problem like the mic was starting to go or something but it works great in Speaker Phone mode. So I feel a little better knowing its not my mic per se. I didn't have the problem with .75 so I may have to downgrade if another release doesn't come out soon. I'd hate to do that cause everything else was made so much better by installing .83. But its no good if people can't hear me. Or maybe that is a good thing

.83 has been an improvement for me. Definately sticking with it unless the device develops a problem starting up, as reported by others.

The first time I loaded 83 it sucked. Wiped the phone with jl cmdr, reinstalled it and it still sucked because of the battery pulls. I then went back to official 75 for a week with no problems. Hooked it up to DM it said there was an upgrade, DM proceeded to install 83 but with a twist, no lock ups, no media card error, and no battery pulls. The phone's been running great ever since.

I downgraded back to official .75. The beta .83 was fast, but I never had phone crashes before it. I'm much happier with the slower reliable, default OS.

For the ones who are running the .83 OS.....How many times does it freeze on you in a day? Im still debating if I want to ride out the .83 OS or downgrade....this battery pull about 2 to 3 times a day is getting old.

Downgraded to .76...not enough improvements for me in .83 to justify the frozen verizon screen and battery pulls.

Running .83, and loving it. The ONLY issue I've had is the no stereo Bluetooth for my videos. IMO it's a non-issue. So therefore, sticking with .83. IF I had to downgrade, I would reload .76.

Also, just to let people know, my phone has not frozen at all, since installing .83. The only battery pull I've done was the one I did after I loaded the new software, and I don't think that was even necessary.

With such a huge spread, 38 kept .83. and 33 went back to an older OS. I wonder if our handsets actually differ, thats almost a 50/50 split. Canada vs. Mexico? Hmm....
