do you mean like power off and back on?

do you mean you want to wipe the device?

the storm has a power off button. but now that I'm thinking about it...your asking about when your phone kind of locks up?

Hard reset aka battery pull = CTRL + ALT + DELETE

There are 2 Apps you can use to simulate a battery pull. quick pull and softreset you can find them in the OTA Apps thread in the 3rd Party Apps Sub Forum.

Battery Pull IS a hard reset. Pushing the END key is a soft reset hence (stand by mode) lol

he's just asking if something similiar works with maybe the virtual keyboard?

The answer is NO. unless you use an app. The turn off icon or a battery pull.

Negative. But would be nice if they implimented this in a future OS. That would take 5 years to release from Verizon

At first I thought that you were talking about control alt delete on the computer, and I was about to say that control alt delete closes programs and doesn't reset the device. Lol

The hard reset is the wipe, soft reset is the battery pull. On WM devices you can hold send+end, and soft reset, then it performs the hard reset.

The closest thing is options>security>general>BB menu>wipe handheld
